To begin chatting with someone, you first need to connect with them by sending a Wave (along with an optional message), and they must respond by sending a Wave or message back. Once they have responded, a chat will form in the messages tab. From there, you can continue the conversation.

If either you or the person chooses to end the conversation, the chat will disappear from both your messages.

If you see someone in your daily profiles (Discover tab) you want to chat with, don’t hesitate to send them a Wave! If they respond with a Wave back, a conversation can start.
